from: Anthony Lupardo Born 1917 Corona NY Unfortunately I cannot walk. But, I'm probably one of the last living residents of Corona. Me and my brother Charlie were the fruit peddlers. My father Tony and Mary had their fruit store on Martense Avenue and l04th Street across from Pete's Candy store. I'll be 90 in June and although living in Flushing many years, Corona will always be my home. Most of your parents will have known of us. Why not ask them. Anthony Lupardo. |
